Bible Reading Plan 2010

In 2009, The Crossing launched a year long Bible reading plan that included the New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs. By any measure it was a great success. For some it was the first time they'd ever read much of the Bible while for others reading along with their friends was just the encouragement they needed to dive back into the Scriptures. Of course reading the Bible shouldn't be a one time event. Instead it should be steady part of our daily spiritual diet. With that in mind we'd like to invite you to participate in the 2010 Bible Reading Plan that begins February 1 and continues through January 31, 2011.

You may notice that we've made a few changes to the reading plan. First, we've reduced the assigned reading for each day from two chapters to one. Also, we have added some readings from the Old Testament that are designed to help you get a more complete picture of who God is and how he is at work in the world. Finally, there are three "catch up" days built into each month. If you fall behind, our hope is that instead of giving up, you will use these days to catch up. Please join us in making the Bible your spiritual food in 2010.
