Ministry Partnerships

God’s heart is for the whole person, whole community, and the whole world. And what God is doing at our church is just a small part of how he is accomplishing his purposes. Recognizing this, The Crossing has always sought to partner with like-minded ministries who seek to have a God-honoring influence in the world. In doing so, we’ve benefited tremendously from the vision, faith, and love demonstrated by these organizations, even as we’ve sought to encourage them with the resources God has given us. It is our hope that God will continue to use these partnerships to advance his gospel in ways that wouldn’t happen if each ministry worked alone.

The following is a list of our current ministry partnerships with brief descriptions taken from their own resources:

Campus Crusade for Christ

Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of Missouri

We seek to glorify God by fulfilling the great commandment, "Love the Lord your God with all your mind, all your heart, and all your soul. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" Matthew 22:37-39, as well as the Great Commission, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20.

Granny’s House

Granny's House is a safe, nurturing place where public housing kids can come each day after school to see values, manners and God's love in action. We provide loving arms, a safe place to play or do homework and an atmosphere of hope and calm in a chaotic world. Every June, The Crossing hosts a golf tournament at Lake of the Woods Golf Course to benefit Granny’s House.

Love INC

Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) brings Christian churches together, across denominational lines, to help the poor by meeting immediate needs such as food and clothing, to longer-term responses through relational ministries such as life skills training and transitional housing.  Love INC operates a clearinghouse where we receive requests for help from individuals in need.  The mission is to mobilize churches to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ.
