One Read. One Run. The Stranger in the Lifeboat by Mitch Album (October)

Wednesday, October 19, 2022 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM

Led By Reb Roebuck

Are you an avid runner craving connection with Christ and other women through exercise and creation? We’re hitting the trails and streets with a new style of study that combines reading and running to help us connect more deeply with Christ, others, and creation. Before our run, we’ll read the book The Stranger in the Lifeboat, by Mitch Albom. You’ll receive a study guide a few weeks before our run, which will include a suggested reading plan and other tools to encourage your running to become a meditative time with God. Then, on October 19, we’ll get together for our 7-mile run to discuss what we’ve read. Sign up with old runner friends or come make new ones! Book and post-run coffee are included in the registration fee. This is a group for runners averaging a 9:00/mile or faster. We will follow a no-drop group policy. Rain date Oct. 26.
