Our gatherings, classes, small groups, and events are meant to help students know Jesus and be known by others in the journey of faith.

What Can I Expect?

Honest Questions, Honest Answers

In Crossing Students, we want to create meaningful conversations where students can ask honest questions and get honest answers about the Bible and the Christian life. Everyone from the skeptic to the committed follower of Jesus is welcome to explore who Jesus is in our ministry. Whether you’re new to Christianity or have grown up in the church your whole life, we want you to know that you and your questions are welcome here.

Discovery Class for Students

This special five week class for 5th and 6th graders is designed to help your students take the next step in growing their faith in Christ and participating in the church.

Discovery Class will not only help kids process the truth of the gospel but will also help them understand the crucial role of the Bible, the church, baptism, and the Lord’s Supper in their spiritual development. Parents will have the opportunity to participate in facilitated discussions. On 10/20 or 10/27, students will have the opportunity to meet with staff for a follow-up discussion. This class includes a one-time lunch and service project from noon-2pm on 10/6 at The Crossing. While this service project is not mandatory for the class, it is strongly recommended.

All 9th-12th graders in the 573 area are invited to gather for a weekly time of dinner, hanging out, a lesson and small group time with their leaders every Sunday night!

We're excited to have a weekly touchpoint for students to study God's Word together. If your student is new, this is a great time to jump into a small group.

Bring your own Bible, pen & notebook. Dinner is provided at no cost.

Crossing High School: Exploring the Bible

Are you a high school student interested in exploring the Bible? Join us on Sunday mornings for a staff-led study where we will learn techniques for reading God’s word and applying it to our lives. Coffee, bagels and donuts provided. No registration is required.

Think Tank

Middle Schoolers, come to Think Tank on Wednesday nights to connect with friends and God! You'll play games with friends, enjoy dinner, and discuss ways God impacts your daily life.

At Think Tank, we foster small group friendships, study the Bible, and play games together. Students will be plugged in with a leader and peers of their own age.

Pizza is provided each week. Bring your own Bible, pen, and notebook. No need to sign up beforehand!

Real Parenting

There is a lot of pressure on parents these days. We live in a culture that promotes high-performance parenting and celebrates the virtues of those who do it well. Real Parenting offers a different model that helps parents relax, learn from their mistakes, and build healthy relationships with their kids that last a lifetime.

Real Parenting is an intensive 6-week class that teaches a research-based approach to parenting from a biblical perspective that will enable you to engage your child in the same way God parents us: with love and limits. We encourage both moms and dads to experience this class together so that you can effectively apply these skills as a team.

Please note: Childcare registration for this class closes on Wednesday, Sept. 4th, a week before class begins

MS Night Out at Midway

Middle Schoolers - let's have a fun night out in Columbia! We'll be going to Midway Golf and Games in Columbia. Cost is $20, scholarships available if needed! Students will have dinner and then be able to play games.
