If it is having patience with our spouses, our children, co-workers, friends, or even with God, waiting is hard. In a world full of immediate gratification, this one feels hard to fight against in small and big ways. We often want to act quickly, respond harshly, or just make a move, but what if all the Lord wants us to do is slow down, wait and listen?
