Our mission is to partner with families to help kids develop a lifetime relationship with Jesus.
Each week we strive to develop and deepen children's relationships with Jesus. We do this through building personal connections, God-centered lessons, and kid relevant teaching strategies. Throughout the year we equip parents and caregivers with resources and events to help you have spiritual conversations in the home.
Follow the signs to the Crossing Kids area or ask anyone with a lanyard for assistance.
Fill out a form at the CK Welcome Desk to register your child.
A greeter will walk you to your child's classroom where well-trained, background-checked volunteers will welcome your child to class.
Join us for our Summer Talking Pictures with Crossing Kids! We'll be showing the popular Netflix hit, K-Pop Demon Hunters. Grab snacks and drinks on the way into the gym to watch the movie on the big screen. Afterward, Pastor Nathan Tiemeyer and Claire Novak will lead an interactive discussion on the movie.
Doors open at 6. Be sure to have dinner before you come.
This film is rated PG. Childcare will be available for ages infant through preschool, although all ages are welcome at adults' discretion. Use this IMDB Parents Guide for reference.
Lace up your hiking boots and join us for this year’s Kids Club: Extreme Wilderness! As we blaze trails and trek along the mountainside, kids will learn that followers of Jesus become more like him. It’s not always an easy journey, but with the right guide, anyone can navigate the wilderness. Kids Club is for children ages 3–rising 5th graders.
Hundreds of volunteers are needed to serve in all areas to pull off this amazing week for our church! Anyone entering 9th grade or older is invited to serve at Kids Club.
Crossing Kids is open during all three Sunday services, 8:15, 9:30, and 10:45 a.m.
Stay connected with Crossing Kids by signing up for the weekly Parent Connection email.
Each Sunday, children, beginning with toddlers, will enjoy a lesson, snack, and engaging activity. Infants and crawlers will be cared for and have all their needs met. You can see what your kids are learning on Sundays by visiting this page.
Crawlers are served puffs. Preschoolers are served Goldfish, Cheerios, or Annie’s Chocolate (dairy-free) Bunnies. And Elementary kids choose between Goldfish and chocolate-chip granola bars. When you register your child, you can list food allergies, and they will be printed on your child’s nametag. We are a nut-free environment. Kids with allergies may bring their own (nut-free) snack.
Yes. You can bring your own diapers, a bottle, and milk or formula, or a change of clothes. Let the volunteers know when your child may need to eat and when they were last changed. We do not serve solid food to kids in the Infant room. Puffs are served to Crawlers.
Yes! We love to support kids with disabilities or those who need extra support on Sunday mornings. Learn more about our disability and inclusion ministry, Agape.
Upon check-in, children receive a name tag to wear, and their adult receives a security tag. At pick-up, you will present your security tag to the volunteer in the classroom. If you lose the tag, you will need to bring a photo ID to the Crossing Kids Welcome desk to re-print before picking up your child.
All our volunteers complete a training and background check process, and we require at least two volunteers in the classroom with the children. Volunteers must avoid entering the bathroom with kids and shutting the door. If a diaper needs changing or a preschooler needs assistance, the door remains open.
Yes! There are donation boxes in or near our Large Group rooms. Money donated here goes to one of our Crossing Kids mission partners.
View our Crossing Kids missions page to learn about the organizations Crossing Kids supports. You can also purchase our children’s book, God Says, Go!, to help your family learn about the Great Commission.
Yes! We offer small groups for fourth- and fifth-graders on Wednesday evenings. If your fourth- or fifth-grader attends on Sundays, you’ll receive an email when it’s time to register for a Wednesday night small group.
Yes. Any child entering the classroom must have been free of the following symptoms for 24 hours or more: fever, diarrhea, cold/flu, vomiting, rashes, eye discharge, lice, green/yellow runny nose, persistent cough, skin eruptions, and any contagious disease.
Yes! Email Crossing Kids staff to access our babysitter list.
We take photos of kids to help families see what’s happening on Sunday mornings. Kids’ names will always be hidden. If a photo of your child is posted on social media and you would like it removed, please message us, and we will remove it.
