Integrated Soul Care
Crossing Counseling provides Integrated Soul Care which is a holistic approach
that deals with the many ways that people have been affected by suffering.
Crossing counselors assess your biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs to help you make a plan to reach your goals.

Three Inter-Related Perspectives
Integrated Soul Care addresses the following three inter-related perspectives in your life.
Contextual: Where we will identify what is happening in your current circumstance and your goals for counseling.
Experiential: Where we will explore the major life events that have impacted you and how they shape who you are in the present moment.
Spiritual: Where we will look at how God relates to your story offering wisdom and insight to address your deepest questions.

Counseling Availability
Due to an increased number of counseling requests, the current wait time
to be seen for ongoing counseling could be up to 3 months.

Step One

The professional counseling services at The Crossing are reserved for actively involved members and regular attendees of 3+ months who have been consistently attending Sunday morning services in addition to being involved in a group at the church and/or are currently serving within a ministry of the church.

Please review the requirements for membership and regular attendance in our FAQ section to make sure that you can be considered for a consultation from our clinical coordinator.

Step Two

If you are a member of The Crossing or a regular attendee, please complete an online request form. This will start the process of being contacted by our intake coordinator.

Once your online request form has been submitted, you will immediately receive an email containing additional information regarding our process. Then, you will receive additional paperwork to complete within a week of your online request. Please be on the lookout for this paperwork.

Once you have completed all the paperwork and submitted it, you will be contacted by our intake coordinator by email to set up an in-person Initial Consultation which will cost $40.

Step Three

Once you have completed your consultation, the intake coordinator will communicate with you about the counseling team’s recommendations and availability. You may be paired with one of our counselors or provided with a referral. We may also include suggested resources such as a book, class, support group, or another local ministry that would benefit you.
