Crossing Students exists to equip and support families as they help middle and high school students take ownership of their faith. Weekly gatherings, small groups, and intentional relationships with caring leaders all offer students opportunities to wrestle honestly with questions about God and discover what it means to follow Jesus.
In Crossing Students, we prioritize scripture, community, and spiritual habits that form faith over time. Our hope is to help students build a foundation for their faith that lasts beyond high school.
Small Groups is our Wednesday meeting from 6-7:25 p.m. in The Crossing Student Center. Each night includes free time, dinner, games, and a small group Bible study. Small groups are based on registration and space.
High schoolers in 9th–12th grades gather Sundays at 573 for dinner, relational time, and Bible-based teaching. The night includes a small group discussion. 573 Meets in the Student Center, 6-8 p.m.
Middle and high schoolers gather Sundays at 10:45 a.m. in the Student Center to learn about the Bible in a fun, relational setting. New? Meet us at the Welcome Table in the Student Center.
All 9th-12th graders in the 573 area are invited to gather every Sunday night for dinner, hanging out, and a lesson during small group time with their leaders!
If your student is new, this is a great way to jump into a small group.
Bring your own Bible and notebook. Dinner is provided each week at no cost.
Camp Awesome: July 27 - August 1
Camp Rockies: August 1 - August 6
Camp connects us to God and others as we create fun memories, learn, and grow in Christ. Rising 6th-8th graders (Camp Awesome) and rising 9th-12th graders (Camp Rockies) are invited to join us at Windy Gap Camp in North Carolina this summer for games, worship, exploring the Bible, and sharing life with leaders and friends. The best part about camp is that it’s about way more than our time away from home—it’s about growing in Christ for a lifetime of faith with others.
Crossing Middle School meets every Sunday morning. We teach the Bible in relevant ways to middle schoolers in a fun and relational environment, including discussion. Sundays are a great time for a new student to try out the class and meet our staff. Donuts are provided.
If you're new, meet us at the Welcome Table in the Student Center.
Are you a high school student interested in exploring the Bible? Join us on Sunday mornings for a staff-led study where we will learn techniques for reading God’s word and applying it to our lives. Coffee, bagels and donuts provided.
Parents of 6th-12th graders, mark your calendars for our mandatory camp meeting. During the meeting, we will go through the logistics of drop off, pick-up, and an overview of the week. There will be time at the end for questions.
At this meeting, all final camp payments are due.

Student safety is a top priority for Crossing Students. All small group leaders complete an application, background check, and training through The Crossing’s Child Protection Policy (CPP) before serving. Leaders are regularly trained and supervised by Crossing Students directors and staff. Our environments are structured to provide clear oversight, appropriate adult-to-student ratios, and accountability in all settings to ensure students are cared for and protected.
Gospel Centered
We don’t aim to raise “good kids,” but disciples of Jesus. The Bible isn’t just a list of rules—it’s the story of God’s grace, and that’s what we center everything on.
Biblically Founded
Everything we teach and do is rooted in God’s word. Scripture shapes our classes, small groups, leader training, and the way we help students follow Jesus in everyday life.
Relationship Focused
Faith grows best in real relationships. We prioritize meaningful connections between students and trusted adult leaders through small groups, gatherings, and shared life.
Parent Partnered
Parents are the most influential voices in a student’s spiritual life. We partner with families through communication, resources, and support as we disciple students together.
Camp connects students to God and to each other through meaningful experiences, fun, and spiritual growth. Each summer, rising 6th–8th graders (Camp Awesome) and rising 9th–12th graders (Camp Rockies) head to a Young Life campground for games, worship, Bible teaching, and shared life with leaders and friends.
Camp creates space for students to slow down, encounter God, and build deeper relationships. While camp is a memorable week away from home, we hope that what students experience there shapes their faith for years to come. Learn more about camp here.
