How You Can Choose Hope In Your Life | Psalm 108:1

In https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Corinthians%2013%3A13&version=NIV (1 Corinthians 13:13), the apostle Paul tells us that a life filled with God’s Spirit will be more and more characterized by three things: faith, hope, and love. You can’t really live the Christian life without them. Those three are always intertwined, making it impossible to have one without also having the others. Hope is like a vital third leg of a three-legged stool. Like with faith and love, hope is a kind of mental and emotional switch we must hit inside our head. It’s a choice we can make. But not a blind choice. God has given us powerful ancient words and prayers upon which to base that choice. That’s the subject of this episode. Psalm 108:1 ESV My heart is steadfast, O God! I will sing and make melody with all my being! Psalm 27:14 ESV Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!
