So we often build our lives around avoiding risk. But following Jesus gives us a different way to think about failure.
In this third episode of our series, You Can Do Hard Things, Keith and Patrick explore why Christians can take wise risks without being controlled by the fear of what might happen. Looking at Jesus’s parable of the talents, they unpack what it means to see ourselves as stewards rather than owners of everything God has given us, and why playing it safe isn’t always the same thing as being wise.
They also look at the risks Jesus himself took and how our security in Christ gives us the freedom to step out, trust God, and use what he’s given us, even when we don’t know how it will turn out.
